Hotel Nordlandet is looking to hire an experienced, committed and proactive Bar Manager to handle the day to day operations of the hotel’s bustling bar and kitchen; Underbar, for the 2020 summer season.

Underbar offers a fast-paced and exciting venue open for lunch, dinner, happy hour and late-nights. As the manager you will be responsible for growing the business, training team members, managing of and ordering of bar stock, planning of promotional events along with other department heads, while maintaining a high level of service, product quality and guest satisfaction. Critical problem solving and highly developed interpersonal skills are a must.

We are looking for a passionate individual with several years of experience, preferably from a similar position, who is capable of managing a broad array of duties within and around the bar/hotel. A solid knowledge of food & spirits is key, and a healthy interest in both wine and beer are a huge bonus.

Hotel Nordlandet is now accepting applications for the position of Assistant Restaurant Manager for the upcoming 2020 season. Flexible start dates available.

In anticipation of an extremely busy 2020 season here on Bornholm, we are looking for an experienced, dedicated and independent hospitality professional to help us develop our already outstanding brand in the new year.

The job requires working closely with all department heads, and especially the restaurant manager to ensure that all elements of service are coordinated prior to service, and that all internal resources are allocated accordingly and efficiently. Other areas of responsibility include: daily restaurant preparation, ordering and inventory of goods, booking correspondence with guests, training of team members, selection of wine/spirits, as well as ensuring a smooth evening service in the restaurant.

We are looking for a passionate individual with several years of experience, preferably from a similar position, who is capable of managing a broad array of duties within and around the hotel/restaurant. A solid basic knowledge of wine is also preferred, but passion, drive and a general interest in the world of wine are more important.

The position also requires a certain degree of emotional intelligence, in order for you to be able to be a professionally competent role model for the other members of staff, no matter their role in the hotel.

Nordlandet is looking for an Executive Housekeeper

Hotel Nordlandet in Allinge-Sandvig is looking to hire an executive housekeeper for the upcoming 2020 season, starting from April 1st, 2020 until the end of the year.

In order to find the right candidate, we have decided to start the search now.

As the head of the housecleaning department your duties will vary depending on the time of year and of course how busy the hotel is. During the shoulder seasons – while the hotel is not as busy as during the peak summer months – work will consist mostly of, but not limited to, cleaning and preparation of hotel rooms and apartments, cleaning of common areas throughout the hotel, organization of the linen room, as well as ordering of linens and cleaning chemicals etc.

During the high season your role will be more managerial and that of quality control. You will mainly be in charge of leading a team of housekeepers, creating work schedules, delegating responsibilities for the day as well as ensuring quality standards are met in a timely fashion. It goes without saying that there will be more focus on critical thinking, meticulous inspection - making sure that the finished product meets our standards, as well as the guest’s expectations.

Therefore, we are looking for a candidate that is not afraid to take charge, has the desire and strength to lead a team, as well a keen eye for details and company standards.

As the hotel’s executive house keeper you will be a key part of our dynamic and passionate team here at Nordlandet. Experience in a similar roll is required, and extremely competitive wages offered, for the right candidate.

Hotel NORDLANDET is looking for dishwashers for the upcoming 2020 season!

We are looking for independent and hard working young women/men to help us ensure a smooth flow in our hotel! Experience is not a requirement, since we will teach you everything you need to know – we do however, value a positive attitude, as well as a willingness to work and take pride in the task at hand. The hotel offers both a stunning restaurant and a cozy bar with a relaxed attitude, and the team here at Nordlandet is a young, dynamic team. Candidates will be able to have a say in their own work schedules as well as the amount of work hours per week – most shifts are in the evenings and weekends throughout the upcoming season.
